Unfortunately one part of this BBC Wales report  is very misleading . This being the statement made by  Welsh government spokesperson who said that no final decision has been made. 

But  added that: "Gilestone Farm has a history of hosting two events  annually of 1,500 capacity as well as a number of smaller gatherings.

 Here is a list of the actual Temporary events notices issued to the site over the last few years . This was freely given to the UVCG by the licensing dept of Powys CC and is available for anyone to verify. 

It is possible some events either did not need or did not get licensed but certainly not sufficient to justify the statement in the article . The Welsh Government who made this claim has previously been challenged on it and has already been provided with the licensing data ,
